Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple enterprise systems and business applications.
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analytical reporting.
Design and maintain interactive dashboards and business intelligence reports using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), trend analysis, variance analysis, and statistical evaluations.
Develop and monitor KPIs, business performance metrics, and operational reporting frameworks.
Use Python, pandas, NumPy, and advanced Excel to analyze datasets and automate reporting processes.
Identify data patterns, anomalies, correlations, and emerging business opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
Support forecasting, performance measurement, customer analytics, and operational improvement initiatives.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through validation and quality-control procedures.
Develop reusable reporting templates, analytical models, and automated workflows.
Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and recommendations based on analytical findings.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business Intelligence teams to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency.
Maintain documentation for data definitions, analytical methodologies, dashboards, and reporting processes.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting Analytics, or a closely related analytical discipline required.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and query optimization.
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence tools.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and statistical processing.
Strong understanding of data cleaning, data transformation, data validation, and exploratory data analysis.
Experience with relational databases and enterprise data warehousing environments.
Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or SQL Server.
Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, KPI development, and business performance measurement.
Understanding of dimensional data modeling, reporting structures, and analytical data pipelines.
Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in enterprise or large-scale business environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power BI DAX, Power Query, Tableau Calculated Fields, or advanced dashboard development.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
